Description of Circe's Island (her home/palace)

"They went through the woods and found Circe's house in an upland clearing. It was built of polished stone, surrounded by mountain lions and wolves"

"They stood like this in the gateway"

"And flung open the bright doors..."

"I stood at the gates..."

"she seated me on a beautiful chair, of finely wrought silver."

"rugs with a purple sheen"

"a couldron with with water and lit a great fire"

"a tub (made of) of bronze"

"led me to the hall"

"sit on a silver-studded chair... with a matching footstool"

A golden basin (a sink)

"set out a polished table"

This is all that was in book 10 of the Odyssey. This is what I read:
1. The exterior of the house and grounds around it.
2. The first dining hall (beautiful decor, yet not as inviting).
3. A bathroom/bathing room of some sort
4. A second dining hall (it may be the same one, not sure because it said the men were in multiple          halls so it could be a different one)
5. Circe's bedroom is mentioned, but isn't described.

So here's a start for us to plan everything.

  1. I started the outside of the palace, so that's the one I'm going to do.

    1. I can work on the dining room. I think that if everyone exports their work into the 3d warehouse we can upload everything together for the final image

  2. I can work on the bathroom/bathing room.

  3. Does everyone think this is okay to do based off the instructions he gave us on canvas? As far as what I’ve read in the book, Circe’s palace is the only thing on the island.
